The Consortium of Florida Education Foundations will help distribute the supplies collected at AT&T stores. The Consortium is the professional association for the local county education foundations that serve the 2.6 million public school students and 295,000 educators throughout Florida’s 67 counties.
“We’re excited to have a company like AT&T that has such a large presence in the community helping with such an important cause,” said Mary Chance, executive director, the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations. “If it wasn’t for community efforts like this one, many local students wouldn’t have the supplies they need to start school.”
AT&T also is helping customers with back-to-school shopping by providing a $30 Staples gift card with two-year activations and upgrades on LG handsets. The promotion runs July 31-August 23. See store for details.
